Questions and answers

How do I sign a PDF without printing it?: Add the PDF, then draw a signature, upload a PNG or JPG, or type a name and date. Set the page, width, position and opacity, create the copy and check where the signature landed.
Is this a legally binding digital signature?: No. This tool adds a visual mark only. It is not a certificate-based digital signature, an identity check or a signature request. If you need a legal signature, ask your recipient what they require.
Can I use a photo of my handwritten signature?: Yes, as a PNG or JPG. A PNG can keep its transparency.
Can I put the signature in the bottom-right corner?: Yes. Set the page, then use position 95 / 95 for the bottom-right corner. Look at the preview before you download.
Is my signature uploaded?: No. Your files and drawings stay on your device and are processed in your browser. Clear workspace removes retained documents and drawing state.

If it did not work

The image is refused: The image limit is 5 MiB and 4 MP. Make the picture smaller and try again.
A white box appears around the signature: A JPG keeps its background in the result. Use a PNG with a transparent background.
A typed name shows wrong characters: Typed stamps support Latin, Greek, Cyrillic, Hebrew, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese and Korean letters. For other scripts, draw or upload the signature.
The page is rejected: Small or unsupported page geometry is rejected. Resize the pages first with Change PDF Page Size.
An older digital signature became invalid: Any change can invalidate an existing digital signature. Add your visual signature first, and apply a certificate-based signature last.
