A practical guide

Make the misoriented pages readable again.

  1. Open the PDF and identify sideways or upside-down page positions.
  2. Choose all pages or enter the positions, then select a clockwise quarter-turn angle.
  3. Rotate and preview the result before saving it.

Try this example

A six-page report has a landscape chart at position 4 saved sideways. Select page 4 and choose 90° or 270° clockwise according to the preview; the other five pages keep their orientation.

  • Pages 1-3 upright
  • Page 4 sideways

  • All six pages upright

Before you start: Rotation changes page orientation in 90° steps; it does not straighten a tilted scan within the page. Page count and order stay the same.

What you get

Rotate all pages or selected document positions by 90, 180 or 270 degrees clockwise. Existing rotation is taken into account; page count and order do not change.

Limits and important details

This changes page orientation, not the angle of a tilted scan inside a page. It does not compress or improve image quality. Preview pages shows the source; Preview latest PDF shows the result.
